Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a CDL-A driver in New Jersey to perform pickups and deliveries of hazardous materials, maintaining compliance with all regulations. The role requires operating tractor-trailer units, including handling landing gear and cab entry, with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Candidates should have HazMat/Tanker endorsements and 2+ years of CDL-A experience, plus the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English.
• Ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes.
• Ensure safety and compliance of load.
• Use Samsara e-Logging Device to manage driver statuses and routing sequencing.
• Use ePOD device to capture delivery receipts and shipment documents.
• Perform other duties to ensure proper deliveries and pickups for customers.
