Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Special Projects Driver to safely transport CNG, RNG, LNG, and H2 for diverse projects across North America.

You will frequently travel, sometimes coast-to-coast, with a sleeper tractor and a base near a major US airport; 21 days on, 7 days off, as described in the posting. The role requires a Class A CDL with experience, willingness to fly, and a safety-minded, self-driven, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license with X 2yrs of driving experience.
• OTR experience is preferred.
• Willingness to fly is required.
• Must be safety-minded, self-starter, team player, and able to manage time efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and willingness to bring field concerns to management.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) and PSP with no suspensions.
• Ability to obtain TWIC if required.
• Ability to obtain Passport if required.
• Texas RRC certification in LNG/CNG is a plus.
• Oil and gas industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• CNG, RNG, LNG & H2 operations for various Special Projects across North America.
• Moving equipment between hubs/regions as equipment demands fluctuate.
• Following all Certarus Safe Work procedures.
• Safe operation of company tractor & trailer to/from off road customer locations in all environments and industries.
• Removal and transportation of Mobile Storage Units from customer sites to various locations.
• Regular drop/hook operations and backing in tight environments with potential for high congestion.
• Operating high pressures valves and pressure bleed off.
• Coupling/de-coupling of high-pressure flex hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reductions systems.
• Proper and in-depth Pre/Post trip inspections of operating vehicles.
• Maintaining a safe and professional driving record.
• Setting the standards at new job sites and assisting with training of other personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
