Job summary

Clean Harbors in Chicopee MA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. You will drive, load/unload, and perform on-site/manual tasks in a safety-first environment.

Required: Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to pass checks, and comfortable using mobile devices. Competitive hourly pay with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL required.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
Ability to use mobile devices on the job.
Must pass background check, drug test and physical.
Per OSHA respirator standards, facial hair rules apply.

Responsibilities

Operate Class A trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
Load and unload trucks at sites.
Maintain daily logs and reports for compliance.
Follow DOT, local, state and company policies.
Ensure proper placarding and safe operation of vehicles.
Be on call for emergency response on rotation.
Support site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
