Job summary

Savage in Roosevelt, UT is hiring a Night Shift Doubles Hazmat CDL A Driver for local routes and home daily. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, use on-board terminals to record locations and deliveries, and ensure paperwork is neat and complete.

Qualified candidates hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and doubles endorsements, have at least 6 months of CDL A experience in the past 2 years (1+ preferred in crude/petrol), and are willing to work days/nights/holidays.

Qualifications

• CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker and doubles endorsements are required.
• 6 months of CDL A experience within the past 2 years is required.
• 1+ year of CDL experience, preferably in crude/petrol.
• Must pass Savage’s road test and pre-/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections and address problems.
• Record locations visited and products handled using on-board terminals and ensure paperwork is complete and legible.
• Report incidents (operational or safety-related) promptly.
• Contain and report any spills per Occurrence Reporting procedures.
• Participate in safety program and attend safety meetings.
