Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. This role also supports on-site hazardous waste clean-up with driving and non-driving duties.

Compensation includes an hourly range of $28.00-$29.00, with travel expenses paid for the required out-of-state training academy. Company benefits and on-call emergency response duties are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements encouraged within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.
• Follow local, state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling hazardous materials.
