Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B CDL Driver in Elgin, IL to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and support equipment at customer sites. You will handle hazardous waste clean-up duties, loading/unloading, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices for job duties.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical/physical as applicable.
• Comply with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard (facial hair rules for respirator use).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial Class B trucks at customer sites and on-site support.
• Load and unload trucks; ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and environmental health guidelines.
• Be on-call for emergency responses on rotating schedule.
• Assist with site remediation and hazardous materials handling as required.
