Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring a Material Handler to support warehouse operations in an indoor/outdoor environment. You will mix and package products, maintain inventory, and assist in shipping and receiving.

Role requires forklift operation, ability to lift 100+ pounds, and knowledge of hazardous materials handling. The team emphasizes safety, quality adherence, and participation in emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP as applicable to the facility.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
• Physical ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and packages Company products and maintains inventory levels.
• Loads and unloads company trucks and customer vehicles using forklift and other required equipment.
• Ships and receives products according to procedures.
• Maintains the warehouse facility and equipment.
• Participates in emergency response teams and handles hazardous waste as required.
• Ensures proper storage and paperwork for hazardous wastes.
• Cleans warehouse and adheres to quality processes.
• Assists in resolving product quality issues in a timely manner.
