Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle hazardous waste according to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will segregate, package, store and transport materials and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts to move containers, completing documentation on time, and supporting general warehouse tasks. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in all climates, and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
Basic computer skills for web-based training.
Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English.
Occasional night, weekend, and variable schedule work may be required.
Professional and polite interaction with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Segregate and package material for transport.
Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials.
Operate fork trucks and other mobile equipment to move containers to/from storage and treatment areas and to load/unload trailers.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely per regulations and customer policies.
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
