Job summary

Tradebe is seeking a Technical Services Chemist in Cincinnati to lead lab packing and safe handling of hazardous materials. You’ll work hands-on with regulatory procedures and practical lab operations, contributing to environmental solutions and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science preferred.
• Basic understanding of hazardous waste regulations or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Classify, identify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transport and disposal.
• Follow regulatory, safety, and company policies to support an environmentally responsible workplace.
• Process documentation to meet environmental regulations and internal procedures.
• Unpack hazardous materials at plant locations when needed.
• Sample and analyze container contents.
• Use internal software systems to research, record, and manage data.
• Drive a 26-ft box truck once a Class B CDL is obtained.
• Remote-open and stabilize high-hazard chemicals (for advanced chemists).
• Other duties as assigned.
