Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Hawbridge Varsity Girls’ Basketball program with a focus on sportsmanship and competitiveness.
• Organize transportation for the team to and from games; ability to drive the school van.
• Ensure compliance with NCHSAA and Central Tar Heel Conference rules and regulations.
• Maintain records for the Girls’ Basketball program.
• Coordinate the coaching staff and practice schedules as needed.

Job Description

The Hawbridge School, an NCHSAA 1A School in Graham, NC, is looking for a coaching candidate to lead our Varsity Girls’ Basketball program. The position will begin prior to the 2026-2027 high school basketball season.

-Promoting a culture of sportsmanship and competitiveness among our student-athletes while stressing the importance and responsibility of representing The Hawbridge School in athletic competition

-Obtaining all necessary NCHSAA certifications prior to the beginning of the 2026-2027 Basketball season

-Organizing transportation for the team to and from games, including a willingness and ability to drive the school van

-Ensuring that the Varsity Girls’ Basketball team stays in compliance with all NCHSAA and Central Tar Heel Conference rules and regulations

-Experience coaching basketball, preferably at the high school level

-Responsibility for record keeping for the Girls’ Basketball program
