Job summary

Partners In Development Foundation seeks a part-time Cultural Advisor to integrate Native Hawaiian knowledge, language, and protocol across all programs. You will work with the President, leadership, and partners to ensure culturally grounded decisions and relationships inform planning and execution.

The role involves advising on Hawaiian language, ceremonies, and messaging, coordinating cultural protocol for events, and supporting leadership development and community engagement across PIDF's

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Native Hawaiian culture, values, language, and protocol.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills across diverse audiences.
• Ability to advise executive leadership and conduct culturally grounded learning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PIDF’s principal advisor on Hawaiian culture, values, language, and protocol.
• Integrate Hawaiian knowledge into organizational culture, leadership, and decision making.
• Advise on ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, translations, naming conventions, and organizational messaging.
