Job summary

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Travel X-Ray Technician to join a growing team in Hilo, Hawaii. The role offers 40 hours per week on a 13-week travel contract with 8-hour shifts. Start ASAP; pay starts at $36/hr and varies with experience.

Responsibilities include taking radiographs, positioning patients, supporting CR/DR workflows, performing QC, and maintaining equipment. ARRT registration and Hawaii RT license required; DXA/CT experience a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered radiology technologist
• State of Hawaii License (RT) required
• DXA and CT experience a plus
• Ability to work professionally with patients and staff

Responsibilities

• Take X-ray images as directed
• Position patients and prepare them per procedures
• Work across CR/DR, manage image manipulation, documentation, storage and retrieval
• Operate radiographic equipment following safety standards
• Perform quality control for printers/readers as needed
• Provide basic patient care and support diagnostic work
• Process and QA X-ray images for radiologist reading
• Maintain and clean radiographic and related equipment
• Provide hospitable guest and patient services
