Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. The PT will provide care in an acute care setting, completing 36 hours per week with evenings shifts and a focus on evaluation and plan-of-care development.

You will supervise PTAs and therapy staff, document thoroughly, and collaborate with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care. A year of experience is preferred, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates; BLS and state licensure

Qualifications

• The PT should have 1 year of experience; for exceptional candidates with the right background, 6 months may be accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients.
• Use Medical Center computer systems daily.
