Job summary

Haven Health Globe is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support the dietary manager with food stocking, prep, and safe meal service. You will help prepare and serve therapeutic meals, assist with portion control, and report on resident food consumption.

Strong English skills and physical ability are required to work in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include stocking, cooking and sanitizing in the kitchen, dining, and related areas while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit in required counties.
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card or eligible to obtain.
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing.
• Tuberculosis Testing.
• Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire).
• Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds.
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English.

Responsibilities

Description

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and perform a variety of dietary tasks including stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items, preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals, assisting in portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining and utility areas.
