Job summary

Great Escape Parks is seeking a talented Makeup Artist to join the Fright Fest Entertainment Team. You will craft spooky and realistic makeup looks to transform performers, enhancing the immersive thrill for guests in an outdoor park setting.

The role involves applying prosthetics, traditional makeup, Special FX, and airbrush techniques, with touch-ups in the field and dressing room. You will work nights, weekends, and holidays while upholding safety and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Comfortable working in dim lighting and around large crowds.
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create and design characters through makeup application and face painting.
• Apply prosthetics, traditional makeup, Special FX, and airbrush techniques.
• Touch up makeup and effects in field and dressing room.
• Create unique character designs for performers.
• Face paint for special events as needed.
• Maintain safety and professional standards.
