Job summary

Luck Stone Corporation's Greene Plant is hiring a Haul Truck Operator to navigate quarry roads and berms, load and unload rock into primary crushers, and assist with on-ground plant maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, reporting hazards, safe operation of heavy equipment, and helping keep the site clean and organized at shift end; shift is Mon-Fri 7am-4pm with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quarry or large construction environment is a plus.
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and goals.

• Pay or shift range: $21.77 USD to $32.65 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

Luck Stone's Greene Plant is looking to hire a Haul Truck Operator. Haul Truck Operators skillfully navigate quarry roads and berms to ensure safe loading and unloading of rock into the primary crushers. Individual will also assist on the ground with plant maintenance as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle
• Identifying and reporting rode, high wall and equipment issues
• Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques
• Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance
• Assist with projects and activities other than heavy equipment operation around the plant as needed.
• May occasionally operate Water Truck or Bin Truck
• Prioritizes safety throughout site for self and others
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment, or heavy equipment experience is a plus
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
• Available to work shift: M-F 7am-4pm
