Job summary

Aviagen is hiring for a Hatchery Service Team role in South Carolina. You will check and grade chicks to quality standards, build transport boxes, and handle eggs with care while maintaining safety and hygiene protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check & Grade Chicks to the Quality Standard.
• Build Boxes for chick transport and complete labels to distinguish orders.
• Manual Handling when transferring eggs to other trolleys and hatchery areas.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and stock consumables.
• Maintain biosecurity and welfare standards for chicks and eggs.
• Follow cleaning, hygiene protocols and wear PPE.
• Report accidents and near misses per procedures.
