Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a hatchery associate to support Embrex transfer operations and egg transfer processes. The role requires following all Company Safety and Animal Welfare Policies while maintaining cleanliness and equipment readiness to prevent egg damage.

The position involves starting up and shutting down transfer equipment, sanitizing Embrex machinery and related gear, and maintaining vaccine and supply inventories for timely ordering as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, Embrex equipment, work area.
• Document machine status and perform light maintenance as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Embrex transfer process.
• Oversee the egg transfer process.
• Ability to mix vaccine by following the SOP.
• Start up and shut down of transfer equipment.
• Ensure machines are working properly to prevent egg damage.
• Clean and sanitize Embrex machine, buggies, and flats.
• Ability to keep up with vaccine and supplies inventory and let management know when vaccines or supplies need to be ordered.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
