Job summary

Lincoln Premium Poultry is seeking a hatchery worker to assist the Hatchery Supervisor with receiving eggs and loading incubators to complete daily operations in Fremont, NE. The role requires standing throughout an 8-hour shift and lifting as needed, with a base pay of $20.00 per hour.

Daily duties include unloading egg trucks, loading incubators, monitoring egg temperatures, and conducting inventory and QA checks.

Qualifications

• Calibrate incubators daily or as needed.
• Dump Cull barrels as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

5. Conduct QA checks & Egg pack flocks checks every day.
6. Calibrate incubators daily or as necessary for production need.
7. Dump Cull barrels as needed.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

1. Must be a team player with a leadership mentality.

4. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes to the needs of production.?
5. Must be able to pass required physical including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
6. Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire 8-hour shift.?
7. Must wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy.
8. Ability to be a good representative of the Company and always display the highest levels of ethical behavior and integrity.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

1. Previous hatchery experience is highly preferred, but not required.
