Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an egg handler to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines and perform routine machine checks. The role requires wearing PPE and complying with NCC guidelines and all relevant laws.
The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working nights/weekends. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and hatchery or poultry industry experience, along with basic math skills.
Must have Class A CDL. Primarily responsible for transferring a specified number of eggs from egg buggies to setter machine. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
