Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring for a Hat Decal & Assembly associate at our Murrysville manufacturing plant. This 3rd shift role runs Sunday through Friday morning, 10:30PM–6:30AM, with a starting pay of $25.02 per hour.

You will be counting on to apply decals, assemble and prepare hard hats for shipment, and perform related tasks. You will read drawings, interpret instructions, operate a pallet jack and hand tools, and ensure quality and productivity while maintaining safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 months previous manufacturing or related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use hand tools.
• Read and understand drawings and work instructions.
• Wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and/or PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply decals to hard hats.
• Assemble, pack, and prepare hard hats for shipment.
• Assemble V-Gard Visor Frame.
• Pull material necessary for the job and heat treat hard hats.
• Interpret all job related documentation.
• Recognize acceptable logos, process deficiencies, and make compensating adjustments.
• Responsible for quality, productivity, material handling, delivery, and completion of paperwork.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

• Ability to:

  • set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
  • sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
