Job summary

The Caviness Beef Packers Harvest Production Team is seeking motivated individuals to join our meat processing facility in Texas. You will perform a range of tasks in the initial processing stage, standing on concrete or elevated platforms and working in a warm, humid environment.

Training during the first 90 days is provided. Responsibilities include preparing product for further processing, cutting, trimming, skinning, sorting, washing, and operating knives, air knives, and other power tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods on concrete or elevated platforms.
• Must wear protective safety equipment at all times.
• Experience in food processing is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a warm, humid environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for further processing.
• Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash product.
• Use tools or machinery such as knives, wrap products, scales, grinders and other power tools.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
