H2ajobs in Florida is seeking farm workers to plant, harvest, and pack a variety of crops including green peppers, cucumbers, squash, and peppers. Workers must have at least two months hand-harvesting experience on a commercial farm, be able to work in hot, humid conditions, and endure a physically demanding, fast-paced schedule.

Housing and meals are provided; meals include three per day at $16.78 per day as posted in the federal register.

Qualifications

• 2 months experience hand harvesting produce on a commercial farm.
• Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order.
• Must be able to work in hot, humid weather for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate, harvest and pack crops.
• Aid in irrigation and operate farm equipment such as tractors.
• Lay plastic, repair plastic, pull plastic and manage related tasks.
• Perform general field cleaning and food safety-related duties.
