Job summary

The Pictsweet Company is seeking Field Hands to join our agriculture team in Monte Alto, TX. The role involves driving and operating farm machinery to harvest field crops, with responsibilities including transporting equipment, attaching implements, and operating harvesters in nearby fields.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience with farm machinery, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work long hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year experience operating, maintaining, and repairing farm machinery.
• Ability to read safety rules/signs and operating instructions.
• Possess a valid/current driver’s license.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Loads and drives truck/trailer to transport farm equipment and machinery to locations.
• Attaches farm implements to tractor.
• Drives tractor to field and tows implements across rows.
• Operates self-propelled harvest machinery to harvest crops.
• Adds oil, gasoline/diesel, and water to machinery tanks.
• Troubleshoots minor mechanical issues and performs basic repairs.
• Wears PPE before starting work and follows all safety guidelines.
