Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Ripon, WI is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to join our team. You will monitor harvesting equipment to ensure uninterrupted flow and perform preventative maintenance during off-season, keeping farm and plant operations running smoothly.

The role includes supporting farm operations with tillage, planting and crop care equipment, while undergoing in-house training on shop equipment such as mills, lathes, welding, hydraulics and AC systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with harvesting equipment and field service preferred.
• Preventive maintenance of agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of tillage, planting and crop care equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Ag Mechanic will monitor product flow during harvesting to ensure uninterrupted flow to the plants.
• The role will provide operating and maintenance support to farm operations, including field repairs.
• During off-season, perform preventative maintenance on harvesting equipment and shop-based equipment training.
