The department performs general, regional, local, and MAC anesthesia, supporting a busy surgical program across eight modern ORs.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and Massachusetts license.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within anesthesia.
• Relies on sound experience and judgement to plan and accomplish safe treatment goals.
• Adherence to established practice guidelines as set by the department and governing bodies.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in an equitable and inclusive environment with colleagues and staff.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, regional (spinal, epidural, peripheral nerve block), local and MAC anesthesia.
• Support perioperative anesthesia care and pain management across the PACU and ORs.
