Job summary

AG Globe Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN for Med Surg / Telemetry in Hartford, Connecticut. This assignment is a local contract with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

Start date 09/21/2026 for 18 weeks, with a pay rate of $56 per hour. Eligible CT license or compact license, BLS, ACLS, ENPC/PALS, TNCC certifications required, and ED/trauma experience preferred. Orientation and bi-weekly pay schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut or eligible compact license.
• Emergency Department/ED experience required.
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
• Respond effectively to emergency and trauma situations.
