Blue Triangle Hardwood's Everett, PA facility is seeking a dependable and skilled Hardwood Log Loader to join our first-shift operations team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of logs within the sawmill yard. The role involves operating heavy equipment to load and unload log trucks, feed logs into the mill, and maintain organized log decks to support smooth and continuous production flow.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a log loader to move, load, and unload hardwood logs throughout the yard.
• Unload incoming log trucks and organize logs into proper decks by species, size, or grade.
• Load logs into the mill to maintain consistent production.
• Load containers of resale logs and mulch trucks as needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain communication with sawmill and shipping departments to coordinate material flow.
• Adhere to all plant safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.
• Work efficiently and independently while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a log loader or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with log yard or sawmill operations a plus.
• Strong attention to safety, organization, and precision.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
