Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a Test Engineer/Technician to join its manufacturing team in Houston. The role centers on testing, troubleshooting and debugging to meet production and quality standards, with hands-on hardware repair and repair training responsibilities.

You will support NPI testing, maintain test stations, analyze RMA data, and coordinate with vendors on failure analysis. A strong customer-service mindset and solid electronics background are required.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on hardware repair, troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Candidates should show strong communication and customer-service attitude.
• Familiarity with common programming languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and final debugging for production.
• Troubleshoot failures; diagnose root cause and propose corrective action.
• Manage procurement, maintenance and improvement of test equipment.
• Assist with NPI test station setup and related processes.
• Train technicians on testing procedures and troubleshooting.
• Analyze RMA fallout and coordinate with vendors on FA results.
• Report ORT and RDT results and escalate issues.
• Monitor testing station performance and upkeep.
• May rework products due to testing issues.
