Job summary

vTek Systems Inc. is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to support verification, validation and compliance testing of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical medical device systems.

The role requires 4+ years of electromechanical testing and 2+ years in regulated environments such as Medical Device sectors. You will develop test plans, procedures, protocols, and reports from requirements, and work with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electromechanical systems & hardware functional testing.
• 2+ years in a regulated industry — Medical Device, Automotive, or Defense.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, protocols, and reports from requirements.
• Experience with electronics/test lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, gauges, calipers, flow meters, thermometers.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards and traceability.
• Experience in electronics/system test lab environments.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Computer, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Python experience for test tools/data analysis is a plus.
