Job summary

Teklabs Inc. in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer for a 12+ month contract in the medical device sector.

You will contribute to electromechanical test methods, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria derived from system requirements. You will perform hands-on V&V using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and other lab equipment, with a focus on compliance testing, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, biomedical engineering, or related field with 2-3+ years of test engineering experience.
• 2-4+ years of electromechanical systems and functional hardware testing in a regulated environment such as medical, automotive, or defense.
• Experience developing test methods, plans, procedures, cases, acceptance criteria, and reports directly from requirements.
• Hands-on experience with system/ component V&V and lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, force/pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and scales.

Responsibilities

• Perform system/component V&V and operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, etc.).
• Conduct compliance testing, root cause analysis, and cross-functional communication.
