Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a dynamic Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team in Austin, TX or San Jose, CA. You will drive scalable and automated solutions, define products, assess root causes, and deliver effective resolutions for AMD processor enabled platforms.

In this high visibility role you will provide design-in guidance to ODM/OEM customers, perform architecture and schematic reviews, and collaborate with development teams to bring industry-leading technologies to market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
Experience with hardware architecture and signal integrity.
Proficiency in debugging HW issues on SoC/x86 platforms.
Familiarity with server OSes (Linux, Windows Server).

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to ODM/OEM customers on integrating AMD processors into networking and storage products and custom designs.
Architecture reviews, schematic reviews, design-in support, and customer training on product features.
Analyze, debug, and root cause issues with AMD processor enabled platforms and coordinate with development teams to resolve.
Apply AI tools/methodologies to improve problem solving efficiency.
