Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Specialist to support materials management, purchasing, inventory control, and supplier coordination for low-volume hardware builds. This role emphasizes tactical execution, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced hardware environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in small to mid-sized hardware companies, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and thrives when solving day-to-day operational

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, buyer/planner, logistics, or manufacturing operations within a hardware environment.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory management, supplier coordination, and material planning.
• Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing builds through kitting and production readiness.
• Familiarity with BOM management, engineering change orders (ECOs), and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials, inventory, purchasing, and supplier activities supporting hardware builds.
• Create and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate material availability.
• Support engineering builds through material planning, kitting, and production readiness.
• Develop and improve SOPs for inventory, receiving, kitting, and material handling.
• Drive operational efficiencies through inventory controls, barcode solutions, and process improvements.
• Manage ECOs, BOM revisions, and material updates.
• Coordinate logistics, supplier communications, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve material shortages and production issues.
• Travel approximately 10% to supplier or manufacturing locations as needed.
