Job summary

North 40 Outfitters in Havre, MT is hiring a Hardware Associate to join our team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, stock and merchandise the hardware department, and help customers find the right tools and supplies.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm and Sundays 9 am to 5 pm, with weekend and holiday shifts as needed. A friendly, team-oriented attitude and knowledge of hardware are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of hardware, plumbing and electrical merchandise.
• Lift and transport 0–65 lbs with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and guidance to customers.
• Generate sales and suggest products to customers and store visitors.
• Stock and merchandise the hardware department.
• Maintain a clean, organized department and aisle presentation.
• Safeguard company assets and follow safety procedures.
