Job summary

Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence. We are seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support hardware development and validation, assembling boards into chassis and getting systems to mechanical bring-up for testing.

In this contractor role, you will execute test procedures, maintain rigorous documentation, and keep our lab environments running across multiple projects. You will work with the lab operations team and hardware engineers to ensure data integrity and timely insights,

Qualifications

• Experience preparing test benches and hardware fixtures.
• Strong data collection and documentation habits; maintain traceable records.
• Comfort organizing lab logs, databases, and test reports for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical set-ups, test benches, fixtures, and lab environments for validation and development.
• Collect and validate system health data with accurate documentation for QA.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Organize and maintain lab logs, databases, and test reports for engineers.
