We are hiring a Hardware Systems Integration Engineer for our Platform Integration team. In this role, you will own the bring-up, integration, and validation of complex robotic hardware systems, ensuring electrical, mechanical, firmware, and subsystems operate reliably as one cohesive platform.
You will work hands‑on with sensors, compute, power systems, harnesses, embedded controllers, drive systems, and thermal devices. You will define subsystem interfaces, build test setups, debug hardware/software integration issues, and verify platform readiness before validation, manufacturing, or mission use. You will report to the Autonomy Platform Lead on our Autonomy Platform Team at DoorDash Labs. We expect this role to be fully onsite.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market‑dependent and may be modified in the future.

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$109,500 — $161,000 USD
