Job summary

GE Vernova in Rochester, NY is seeking a Hardware Engineering Co-op to apply Electrical Engineering knowledge to real-world hardware design for energy, oil and gas, mining, water/waste water, and transportation applications.

You will receive technical training, mentorship from world-class technologists, and opportunities to grow your hardware design skills while gaining exposure to manufacturing processes at the Rochester plant.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time accredited bachelor’s or graduate program in Electrical Engineering.
• Two full years of college completed.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assignment/project within engineering to stretch learning.
• Report progress and status to project management.
• Estimate time to implement features and resolve issues.
• Apply academic knowledge to deliver positive outcomes for the team.
