Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of board design experience.
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes.
• Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
• Knowledge of MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and electronics.
• Experience with CAD tools (Altium preferred; Eagle acceptable).
• Able to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and integration.
• Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
• Collaborate with vehicle development teams to design tailored fuzing systems.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses.
• Provide support within other air vehicle subsystem constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing.
• Conduct design reviews across disciplines.
• Build and test components during lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
