Anduril Industries is seeking a Hardware Engineer for Special Projects who can serve as a core technical problem solver across mechanical hardware, electronics, software, and systems thinking. You will be deployed on high-priority gaps, from hardware integration to customer demos, with a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
The role requires 5+ years across multiple domains, hands-on hardware experience, and the ability to move quickly between disciplines. A U.S.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We’re looking for a Hardware Engineer for Special Projects to serve as Core Tech’s go‑to technical problem solver. You will be deployed across the portfolio wherever the highest‑priority gap is: diagnosing a hardware integration issue on one program, standing up a demo for a customer visit the next week, writing test automation to close a verification gap, building an internal dashboard to track production yield, or untangling a process bottleneck that’s slowing down an entire team. The common thread is that every problem is different, the timeline is always tight, and the solution requires someone who can move fluidly between mechanical hardware, electronics, software, and systems‑level thinking. If you’ve spent your career building breadth across engineering disciplines and you’drather solve the hardest problem in the room than own a single subsystem, this is the role.
$132,000—$175,000 USD
