Job summary

Bellatrix Systems LLC is seeking a Hardware Engineer 5 for our Longmont, CO location. This onsite, full-time role focuses on hardware product development, including analog and digital circuit design, PCB layouts, and board bring-up.

You will perform design and development tasks for new products or updates, develop testing routines, contribute to project plans and documentation, and troubleshoot prototypes using lab instruments like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

Qualifications

• Hardware design and development experience at PCB level.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design; PCB schematics and layout understanding.
• Hands-on board bring-up, prototype debugging and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge in hardware validation, signal analysis and power/circuit behavior.
• Experience using lab tools like oscilloscope, logic analyzer and multimeter.

Job Description

Performs design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems including development of new products or updates to existing products. Work may encompass one or more areas of engineering including electronic design, or other related fields. Duties may include research, evaluation, development, and application of new processes and methods into products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and documentation of work and results.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in hardware design & development (PCB level)
• Experience in:
  • Analog and Digital circuit design
  • PCB schematics & layout understanding
• Hands‑on experience in:
  • Board bring-up
  • Prototype debugging & troubleshooting
