Job summary

Torc Robotics is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the integration of self-driving components into vehicles and test benches. You will troubleshoot complex E/E integration issues, document results, and develop release test plans for rapid software deployments.

Responsibilities include on-road evaluations, high‑level performance analysis, and collaboration with development teams. Proficiency in ROS, Python or C++, and Linux is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree plus 2 years engineering experience or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years engineering experience.
  • Experience with system integration for complex E/E systems and autonomous platforms.
  • Experience testing automotive/autonomous systems and data-driven troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with ROS, Python or C++, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration of self-driving components into vehicles and test rigs.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and document results (DVP&R, test plans/procedures).
  • Develop and execute system integration release tests and on-road evaluations.
  • Evaluate system performance and provide feedback to development teams.
  • Leverage automated testing to improve release efficiency.
  • Maintain rapid integration/deployment for software stack.
  • Perform first-tier analysis of extended testing data for insights.
  • Identify tools/automation to boost testing capabilities.
  • Track and report system performance KPIs.
  • Provide integration issue resolution support to testing teams.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead the integration of new and existing self-driving components onto vehicles and test benches. Troubleshoot component and system integration issues. Provide necessary documentation in the form of DVP & R, Test procedures, Test plans, System requirements and technical reports. Develop and execute system integration release test plans, performing closed course and on-road evaluation of updates prior to deployment to extended testing groups. Evaluate full system performance, understanding the contributions of relevant subsystems, providing feedback to development teams. Leverage results from automated software testing pipeline to increase the efficiency of the system integration release process. Maintain a rapid integration and deployment schedule for self-driving software stack with consistent releases to testing teams. Perform first tier analysis of extended testing data to provide insight into system performance to the rest of the organization. Create requirements for new tools or automation to increase overall testing capabilities. Track and report system performance KPIs on a regular basis. Provide integration issue resolution support to the testing teams.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field and 2 years of related engineering experience.

Alternative Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field and 5 years of related engineering experience.
