Job summary

Akraya Inc is seeking a software-enabled hardware automation engineer in Redmond, WA on-site for a 12+ month contract (W2). Develop automation scripts for manufacturing and QA testing, participate in full development life-cycle, and collaborate across software and hardware teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software development with strong Python and hardware debugging; knowledge of TestStand, LabVIEW, and MATLAB is preferred, along with space-related safety-critical/autonomous systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong Python skills.
• Troubleshooting and debugging experience with hardware.
• Knowledge of TestStand, LabVIEW and MATLAB preferred.
• Experience with safety-critical/autonomous systems for space applications is preferred.
• Test equipment and instrumentation software development experience preferred.
• Hardware testing and debugging experience preferred.
