Soho Square Solutions in Irvine, CA is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract to lead hardware development for medical device systems. You will design analog/mixed-signal circuits, develop PCB layouts, support BLE/RF performance, and validate hardware in regulated environments.

The role requires hands-on hardware work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and thorough documentation from schematic to release, with an emphasis on reliability, safety, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 6-10 years of electronic hardware development experience.
• Experience with analog & mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience with BLE / 2.4 GHz wireless technologies.
• Familiarity with EMC, electrical safety, and regulatory testing (IEC 60601).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware for medical device applications.
• Support schematic design, PCB development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and product release.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and release of electronic hardware for medical device systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analog/mixed-signal design, PCB development, BLE/RF technologies, and hardware validation within regulated product environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware for medical device applications.
