Job summary

You will drive schematic design and PCB layout, supply specifications to manufacturing, and sustain products through their lifecycle. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in schematic design, plus knowledge of high-speed PCB techniques, C programming, and networking (Ethernet, Fiber, PCI).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of schematic design experience.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirement documentation (PRD) and create a feasibility study.
• Create Technical Product Specification (TPS) document once the product is approved.
• Schematic design based on TPS and provide feedback to the board design group.
• Direct and review PCB layout.
• Supply product specification to manufacturing and provide feedback during initial release.
• Product sustaining during product lifecycle.
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies and develop recommendations.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations.
• Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements.
• Identify barriers and opportunities related to project goals.
• Confers with management, production, and marketing to determine feasibility, cost, and customer demand.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $130,000.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

Responsible for reviewing product requirement documentation (PRD) and create a feasibility study to implement requirements. Once product is approved, create Technical Product Specification (TPS) document.

• Schematic design based upon TPS and feedback to board design group concerning component placement.
• Direct and review PCB layout.
• Supply product specification to manufacturing and supply feedback during product initial release.
• Product sustaining during product lifecycle.
• Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies and develops recommendations accordingly.
• Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
• Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.
• Stay up to date on company products and project goals- identify hidden barriers and opportunities.
• Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
