Job summary

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, a Hardee’s franchise, seeks a Restaurant Breakfast Manager to supervise the breakfast shift, ensure quality, service, and cleanliness, and drive breakfast sales growth.

You'll lead and train crew, manage inventory and labor costs, schedule staff, and maintain compliance with safety and HR policies in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must meet the physical demands required of the role.
• Must be able to lead, recognize, and train successful talent.
• Minimum of 1 year of shift management experience.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Preferably a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage the breakfast shift according to company standards.
• Ensure all breakfast equipment—ovens, flat grills, and the biscuit station area—are cleaned and properly maintained. Maintain equipment and utensils cleaned and stored properly after shift.
• Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with the management team and crew.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted.
• Assist with crew member duties as needed.
• Conduct crew team meetings to discuss procedures, promotions, safety, and training.
• Maintain an adequate supply of products and items necessary to operate the restaurant.
• Control inventory to meet Food Cost Variance standards and assist with inventory counts for breakfast items.
• Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Be responsible for all cash and ensure adherence to cash procedures.
• Assist with scheduling sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and manage labor costs to standards.
• Train and develop crew under direction of the Senior/General Manager.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring qualified staff in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe environment.

Position Summary

To supervise operations of the restaurant during the breakfast shift and assist in achieving breakfast sales growth through maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness with a constant focus on profitability.

• Conduct crew team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, and training.

• Assist with scheduling sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow, managing labor costs to meet company standards.
• Train and develop crew under the direction of the Senior/General Manager.
• Assist the Senior/General Manager and Manager in interviewing and hiring qualified staff in compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Assist with lunch shift if business needs require.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism at all times.
• Recognize and adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all.
• Consistently exhibit the actions and behaviors which best demonstrate BNE’s Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management and represent Boddie‑Noell Enterprises, Inc. as a professional in every aspect of performance.
