Job Summary

The Hard Cooked Processor is responsible for maintaining cookers, weighing and stacking pails onto pallets, inspecting hard cooked eggs, and properly labeling packaged containers. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment while remaining alert and attentive to detail. Additional tasks may be assigned by management outside of normal responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pack eggs carefully in a timely manner
  • Check code dates and traceability information
  • Communicate food safety or quality concerns
  • Visually inspect products for damage or defects
  • Remove excess broken pieces of egg from the belt
  • Wrap product and scan inventory
  • Recognize and apply standards for all categories of egg quality
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to remain on your feet for 8–12 hours per shift
  • Strong alertness and situational awareness
  • Must be able to lift 20 plus pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, crouch, push/pull, and reach above shoulders for extended periods
  • Hand/finger dexterity required
  • Ability to safely work with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
