Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a nightshift general laborer to join our team in Nashville, TN. This hands-on role maintains cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of plant operations while you perform general labor duties outdoors.

No prior experience is required; a strong work ethic and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work with a team, and follow safety procedures are essential. Training and PPE will be provided for night shifts from 4 PM to 4 AM, Monday through Friday, with half-day Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup of yard and plant areas to maintain a safe workspace.
• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from barges and other vehicles.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks (sweeping, shoveling, pressure washing).
• Support production operations with manual labor as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

SRM Concrete is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a nightshift general laborer, performing general labor duties. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! This hands‑on role is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our concrete plant operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Perform general clean‑up of the yard and plant areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials from barges and other vehicles.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling, and pressure washing.
• Support production operations by providing manual labor as needed.
• Help monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, notifying the supervisor of low stock.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

• This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• This position is nightshift from 4PM to 4AM Monday-Friday, every Saturday will be a half day.
• This position requires being comfortable with working around water and on barges.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre‑employment screenings.
