Job summary

Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop is seeking a skilled Blacksmith/Fabricator to craft components for wagons, stagecoaches, and historic reproductions. You will interpret reference photos, drawings, and historical documents to bring designs to life, using traditional techniques rooted in Old West craftsmanship.

You will work with authentic materials, applying careful, precise handwork and a collaborative mindset to deliver durable, historically authentic pieces that tell a story with every detail.

As a Blacksmith/Fabricator on our team, you’ll create custom components for a wide variety of vehicles from Hitch Wagons and Stagecoaches to historical reproductions and traditional wagon parts. Every piece you make tells a story, and every day is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and grow your craft.
