Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, light electrical, masonry and office fixtures/equipment installation.
• Perform work including building/site repairs, painting, cleaning, and maintaining grounds and site equipment.
• Interior and exterior building maintenance such as shelving, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, cleaning windows and routine checks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (A summary of the purpose of the position) FUNCIONES ESENCIALES: (Un resumen del propósito de la posición)

• Carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks such as, plumbing, carpentry, light electrical, masonry plaster and office fixtures/equipment installation among others. Realizar una amplia variedad de tareas de reparación y mantenimiento, tales como plomería, carpintería, luz eléctrica, albañilería einstalación de accesorios / equipos de oficina, entre otros.
• Perform work involving maintenance/craft skills to carry out general maintenance including: building and site repairs, fencing, painting, floor and wall tiling, cleaning footpaths, rubbish and recycling bins, etc. Realizar trabajos que cubran habilidades y destrezas de mantenimiento para llevar a cabo el mantenimiento general, que incluye:reparación de edificios, cercas/verjas, pintura, losas para pisos y paredes, limpieza de aceras, basura/desperdicios y recipientes dereciclaje, e tc.
• Deal with general items of repair and maintenance in the interior and exterior of the building: e.g. putting up shelves, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, cleaning lamp shades, cleaning windows. Carrying out routine checks, repairs and maintenance of site equipment, and the exterior of the building. Trabajar con los elementos generales de reparación y mantenimiento en el interior y el exterior del edificio: ej: colocar estantes, cambiarbombillas, mover muebles, limpiar pantallas de lámparas, limpiar ventanas. Llevar a cabo verificaciones de rutina, reparaciones ymantenimiento de los equipos y el exterior del edificio.

EDUCATIONAL or EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENTS: REQUERIMIENTOS EDUCACIONALES O EQUIVALENTE

• Technical College Degree preferred Grado técnico de universidad preferido
• High school diploma with 2+ years of Facilities experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training,and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
