Qualifications

• Previous handyman, construction, or property maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple repair tasks.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Comfort traveling between properties in West Orange and nearby areas.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair interior/exterior doors.
• Install/repair windows; basic carpentry and trim work.
• Repair drywall and patches; paint and touch-up.
• Handle plumbing repairs; replace toilets and fixtures.
• Replace outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
• Perform general property repairs and maintenance; punch-list work.
• Maintenance of exterior areas and basic landscaping.
• Move materials; assist with small construction projects.
• Complete maintenance requests across multiple properties.

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time.

This is a long-term position handling ongoing repairs, maintenance, and smaller construction work across residential and multifamily properties in West Orange and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems, and handling a variety of different tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Typical work will include:

• Installing and repairing interior and exterior doors
• Installing and replacing windows
• Basic carpentry and trim work
• Drywall repairs and patching
• Painting and touch-up work
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Replacing toilets, faucets, and plumbing fixtures
• Replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• General property repairs and maintenance
• Punch-list work
• Exterior property maintenance
• Grass cutting and basic landscaping
• Moving materials and supplies when needed
• Assisting with smaller construction projects
• Completing maintenance requests at multiple properties

Requirements
